If I understand the article correctly, fire is the only way to destroy a persons DNA, then it has to be wrong to let your body be cremated after death! Can someone that has been cremated be resurrected and judged if his DNA has been destroyed?
.
OUR RESPONSE:

Well Callie.
I will respond to that as best I can as a mere mortal human being.
My understanding is that fire completely destroys DNA, but please understand that i am certainly not God, so i do not know what He might think or do about it.

My guess is, that nothing could destroy a human being to such a degree that God could not resurrect him/her.  But, in view of my own personal beliefs, i, for myself, would not allow anyone i cared about to be cremated.

I like what you have said! indeed but I must point out that Hell is not anything to do with the lake of fire, in fact it is also to be cast into the lake of fire! Hell is a duel place where both the dead in Christ ( the paradise part of Hell) and the otherwise dead (those in torment of knowing the truth) are held prior to Judgement and new life or the lake of fire!.

.
OUR RESPONSE:

We stand on our definition that the lake of fire will  be  the literal hell when all is said and done.  Thank you for your response.

I would have to disagree about cremation.  Very good and holy people have died in fires and explosions, modern genocide where whole buildings of Christians have been torched, and even early Christian martyrs "burned at the stake."  God would not allow this if burning somehow destroyed a person's chances for eternal life.

OUR RESPONSE (STAFF):

As was stated by Vince Diehl in an earlier response, God may very well raise up those who are cremated, however, knowing that fire can destroy DNA, I myself wouldn't choose to do so.  At the same time, I certainly believe that God knows how to preserve His own.
